Lupus is a rare auto immune disease that has no cure and has so many different and varied symptoms that make it difficult to diagnose. Nevertheless, it seems like in every episode of the show, the patient House and his team are diagnosing will exhibit one of the innumerable symptoms of the disease, which causes one of the doctors (usually Dr. Cameron) to suggest it as the cause.
