The Japanese Reinvent the Pocket Lighter

The fact that the Japanese reinvented the pocket lighter isn’t really a shocker, but what is a shocker — or rather, what’s incredibly wacky, zany and an absolute pleasure to behold — is the accompanying advertisement for the newly invented Japanese pocket lighter.

Think super-colorful, super crazy, oh-my-goodness-did-I-accidentally-drop-a-tab-of-acid-or-is-this-really-actually-happening kind of stuff. And it’s positively fantastic.

Just don’t watch the above video if you’re one of those people who are at risk of having a seizure because of flashing, bright, colorful moving lights. Or if you’re in any way creeped out by semi-lifelike, anime-style caricatures of lifeless everyday objects. Otherwise, be prepared to take a trip down the rabbit hole!
