Why Can’t American Politics Be This Entertaining?

In America, politicians fight a merciless battle with their ideological opponents on a daily basis, trying to win the hearts and minds of voters. However, most of their fights are restricted to bandying petty insults at each other to the news media, who acts as a proxy to stir the whole pot up. However, in other countries, when two politicians disagree with each other, its grounds for a paddlin’.

Full blown riots in the Parliament House are so commonplace in some of these nations that the people running the show come prepared with umbrellas to protect themselves from flying debris so they can continue their other business. I guarantee you if American Politics included  spectacular fights between out of shape and aged men on a regular basis, C-Span would be one of the highest rated channels on TV.
