It’s just too good — it practically transcends species in terms of comedy for goodness sake! IT’s also become quite apparent to me that this video… well, it simply cannot be done justice in mere words. Just as one does not simply watch it only once, one must simply watch it to understand the true essence of the video. And then after that, well, you’ll be too busy laughing your butt off to really care about discussing said video media analysis style or anything. So, well…...

It was the best of times… it was the worst of times… or, wait — that’s the wrong Morgan Freeman voiceover. Anyway, as you can see from the video above, it’s not “technically” Morgan Freeman reading Everyone Poops, but it’s damn near the next best thing. This kid does a remarkable Morgan Freeman impression and, apparently, has already gone viral several months ago (via Reddit of course, where else?) from just such an impression. It’s just that in that one, he wasn’t reading everybody poops but instead was just doing a generic Morgan Freeman impression. Seriously, though, what do you think it says about our society as a whole here in 2013 that such a video — no matter how funny and entertaining it may be when it’s all said and done — can become so popular and be so widely viewed and revered? Do you think if we showed this video to some people back in, say… 1957 they’d think we were a bunch of Looney Tune weirdos in 2013? Probably… I mean, it’s pretty much true when you think about it.
